    Hi Brianna,
You have good taste. Jack is an excellent horse, and we’re really happy with the way he’s been producing for us. He is broke and is very gentle. To get our mares in we walk out and catch Jack and lead him home and the mares follow. As studs go he’s one of the most well-behaved and friendly ones that I’ve seen. Jack is a Blue Roan with the Gray gene. This is why he throws so much color. We get roans, grays and blacks out of him on a regular basis. Unfortunately, right now we’re not looking to sell Jack, but we do have some really nice colts out of him for sale. You can see his offspring at http://www.paintedwolfranch.com.

Thanks for your comment and feel free to drop me an email at info@paintedwolfranch.com if you have any questions.

I just started riding this past summer. We went on a vacation to FT. Robinson and went on a trail ride. I liked it so much that I took a second ride with my youngest son. I wanted to keep riding. I found some one here at home that has seven horses and they let me ride with them. We rod almost every Sunday this past fall. I have also been taking riding lessons at a place by Lincoln. I really like red roans and I see you usually have a selection of them. Unfortunatly I have two kids in braces and two car payments so I will have to wait until the spring of 2010 to buy a horse. We visit family in northwest KS four of five times a year. I would like to stop by and visit your ranch on our way to Kansas sometime this spring or summer. I’ll call first if that is alright? Thank you Mike

    Hi Mike,
That would be perfectly fine. Feel free to stop in whenever you’re up this way. There’s pretty much always someone here, and if you call in advance we’ll make sure we have the horses close to home. You can reach us at (308) 440-8027 or (308) 440-1097. You can also reach me directly via email at amandaa@paintedwolfranch.com.
